Panteli is possibly the loveliest of the many bays on the island. It has everything... sandy beach, great tavernas, two kafenios (where the fishermen enjoy an ouzo, meze, picalia or fish meal) and great swimming. You don't know what these all are? Come and find out! Sitting either under shelter or on the beach at Tzouma's kafenio you can enjoy a beer, cola or ouzo... get warm, plunge into the water to cool off then perhaps wander along the beach to Zorba's Taverna, Psarapoula or Patimenos. Or, having enjoyed yourself at Tzouma's, return there for a great budget meal.
Greek people go out late and generally eat after 9pm. You probably don't want your evening to end... walk up the beach a bit and find Savana Bar, run by two Englishmen Peter and Simon and you'll often see Pernille, Peter's friend, there.
